Driving

Ah, it's been a while since I last updated so here it is. At this very moment, I'm preparing for the California driver's license written test.
The book isn't very long and once you've been a passenger long enough, it seems all very familiar but the US is a very different driving environment from Singapore and the Philippines for that matter so I mustn't get complacent. Hehe. At any rate, the registering for the license (and test) went pretty smoothly. Simple building, interesting people, and about 1 hour++ and I was done. This is me bored in the waiting room.
But an hour isn't bad for government services so that's that. What else? I finally went to my school but I forgot to bring the camera so no pictures. My brother and I were talking to the International Student Services people (he did a stint there so he knew them) and later to the vice dean of the Business School. The good news is that I get to go through normal graduate admissions without bridging or transferring. It'll save a year or so even if I have to go in on probation or take a few supplementary units. I'll be preparing for my GMAT soon. Hehe.

Oh and I can't leave without posting random pictures. We were at the 99c store and I came across a few tools that reminded me so much of NS. I think my platoon sergeant would have loved to see these with all his talk of signing 1206 forms.

okie dokie. here's a picture of my family. hehe, i got a little wild with the camera and my siblings said i was acting like an FOB (fresh out of the boonies, i.e. hillybilly). at any rate, this restaurant was Sam Woo something and this branch tanked. their meat was fine but their fish... but i digress.


lol. the only picture i'm posting from the restaurant i didn't take. at any rate, this is my sister playing her cello. she plays the piano too and pretty well; i'll get some photos of that sometime.


then since i'm starting to get irritating with the camera, here's me posing with my mom. haha.

and this is the outside of the house. with me posing. gee.. how come i haven't posted anything i've personally shot? cuz i'll be killed if i post the ones i took. lol. but here's some of the more random ones that i took... of bunnies!


these are the two bunnies that run about outside of the cage and they are fat. fat. must slip meta tablets into their diet. hehehehe. they're cute though. and fat makes them cuddly. =)


not that they let me touch them. well, i can't tell if this bunny is more adventurous or just plain greedy. i hold out my hand and it'll nibble even if my hand's empty. lol. i've managed to pet it while bribing it with food but it's gotten suspicious. hehe. runs away more now. the other one is just plain shy. ah well.


anyhow, those are all the pictures for now. my life is pretty boring (read: stay home) so not that many photo ops but will try for more. run around with my brothers camera. haha. ooh.. don't have a photo of my dad. will get that in soon.
